Loving your community is more important than ever...

Hello friends...

We wanted to share an important message with those of you not on our email list. We thank you in advance for reading and for caring about your community.

We prefer to maintain neutral positions on most things out of respect for others but we feel we needed to reach out this week in the midst of the COVID surge and share our feelings. We understand that some of you may feel differently.

We hope your family and friends continue to be safe and healthy during this challenging time. The emphasis on masks, social distancing and hand hygiene cannot be stressed enough. Our hospital systems and healthcare workers are exhausted. They need EVERYONES help to get this situation under control. They can NOT do it alone. We need to come together as a community and care about each other. Wearing a mask and social distancing WILL save lives, period.

If we work together, we will get through this together. The holidays will be lonely this year, but one lonely year is a brief moment in time when compared to the permanent loss of a loved one. We all miss our families but we love them enough to make the difficult decision to stay separate so we can all stay safe. Technology has given us alternative ways we can see each other safely. FaceTime is available for iPhone users. Facebook Messenger allows video calls. Google Duo is an app that can be used on both iPhone and Droid devices. It allows group calls and is very easy to use. Zoom is also another option to help you connect with people. And of course there is alway the good old fashioned phone call, the sound of the voice on the other end of the line is sure to put a smile on your face. This will not last forever and we…are…stronger…than this one moment!

New BBQ Pick up Process!

With the change of the season and for everyones health and safety we are now offering curbside pick up. Customers will not be allowed inside the shop due to limited space and the need for social distancing safety. This allows you to stay safe and warm in the comforts of your vehicle while you wait for your BBQ. We do not expect any longer wait times with the change but we appreciate your patience during this transition while we work the bugs out!

WHERE TO PARK:

The parking lot will now be open to vehicles and accessible from Smith Avenue. Please be courteous when parking as space may be limited at times. If the lot is full you may also park anywhere along north bound Smith Avenue or Cherokee Avenue. If you are parking on the street please come to the door to pick up your order.

UPON ARRIVAL:

1. Park your car in the lot.

2. We will come to your car window from a safe distance to get your name and order number. We can take additional order items at that time.

3. Sit comfortably in the warmth of your vehicle while we package up your meat treats and bring them to you. Orders will be filled in the order of arrival. We will continue to offer card or cash payments on site and have hand sanitizer available.

WALK-UP ORDERS:

1. A list of our available menu items will be located outside the shop door for viewing. Someone will meet you outside to take your order and payment.

2. You will have the option to wait outside or in your vehicle while we package your items.

Friendly tips and updates...

Hi friends!

We wanted to post an update about parking access and a few helpful tips for first timers and those we haven’t seen for a bit…

Parking…for the safety of our customers we will no longer have parking available within the lot. Parking is available along Cherokee Avenue and other nearby streets. If you are traveling south bound on Smith Avenue you will want to take an immediate right turn onto Cherokee Avenue after crossing the bridge. If you are traveling north bound on Smith Avenue you will want to turn left at the light on George Street to get to Cherokee Avenue.

With BBQ season in full swing we are currently filling the pit to maximum capacity every week. This means that all of our product items have a limited amount available and sold out means just that. Unless someone cancels an order last minute we are out, but it never hurts to ask if we have any extras 😉

We are now enforcing a strict open at 5pm rule. This allows us time to get all of your meat treats packaged and ready to go on time. You are more than welcome to arrive early and be the first in line but know that we will not start filling orders until 5. We appreciate your patience and assure you that once the line starts moving you will not have much of a wait!

How soon should you place an order? You can start as early as Saturday and we would recommend trying to get them in by Tuesday if you want something specific.

Bebe Zito Ice Cream is available and ready to order! We have three consistent flavors available. Strawberry Fields 4 Ever, Brazilian Chocolate with Brigadeiro Truffle, and Vanilla with Tahitian & Madagascar Vanilla Beans. There will also be “extras” available on a first come first served basis in special flavors each week so be sure to ask about them when you arrive. These tasty pints are available now on our website for ordering.

You can also use the link here to continue to order locally roasted coffee from Roundtable Coffee Works. You can order on their website and pick up your package with your BBQ on Fridays. They will have multiple offerings available to choose from. Please select pick up at Black Market StP.
